Invaders to christen new Gee Gees Stadium against expansion rival Montreal

While the Ottawa-Montreal rivalry is being re-ignited by the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Ottawa Invaders will be doing their part to keep the rivalry between the two cities alive.

The Invaders will face the Montreal Transit in their 2013 Northern Football Conference home opener. The Transit, an NFC expansion team, will face Ottawa in the first ever football game at the new Gee Gees Football Stadium at the University of Ottawa Sat., June 1.
